A relaxing Alpaca walk is a great experience, getting up close and learning about these fascinating creatures. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with 3rd parties.  

NO CHILDREN UNDER 8 years old - Sorry we can not accept children under 8 years of age as our insurance will not cover them

Adults and children over 12 may lead one of our halter trained alpacas for a walk along the Itchen River. Younger children, over 8yrs of age, can accompany an  adult on the walk and hold one of the 2 leads provided.

Further information: Under 17s must be accompanied by an adult (the ticket is allocated per Alpaca). Please note that if your children are under 17 you will need  to accompany them and be able to take the rein in the event the children are uncomfortable or unable to lead the alpaca. Children under 12 will not able to  lead their own alpaca. No Children's Parties as the alpacas are very nervous animals and a large group of excited children will only upset them.

You Must wear sensible outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and experience with sturdy trainers or shoes &( wellies and waterproofs for wet weather -  we still walk in the rain!)

Sorry, no wheelchair access, we now have toilets are on site. Customers Must sign waiver prior to participation. Terms are applicable to vouchers purchased Failure to cancel bookings which result in a no show and are lost, and can not be reused, and no refund can be made.  Tickets must be redeemed within 6 months from purchase, or are no longer valid

Cancelled Walk Due to weather or covid if your walk is cancelled by us you have 3 months from the date of this booking in which to rebook we will move your booking free of charge, 

Failure to arrive on time, which result in a no show, are lost and cannot be reused, No refund can be made in these incidences.  If you are unwell on the day of your alpaca walk or event we ask that you send someone in your place. If you have booked along with other people, the participants who are not unwell will still be expected to attend.

Moving Bookings  We no longer move bookings. Tickets are valid only for the date they are booked and cannot be transferred to another date. However if you are unable to attend you may gift your walk for someone else to use, just let us know the name

Outside Southern Water Gates Lay-by just on left, before railway bridge when traveling west down Kiln Lane
Or 
from Brambridge Park gardens, turn left out of their gates, travel over 2 hump bridges and you will see a lay-by on left with tall iron gates (if you go under the railway line, you have gone too far).

Parking is available on site and you will be guided to your parking place by a member of staff
We have toilet facilities on site

A representative from Hensting Alpacas will be at the gates 09:35 am sharp to meet you. The gates close at 09:55 apm so please do not be late

During the walk we take photographs of the experience and these are published on our Facebook page to enable our customers the opportunity to see their time  with us at no extra charge. By booking with us we will trust this is accepted by the customer unless a member of staff is notified on the day prior to the walk or  you contact us in advance.  The gates open at 09:25 and close at 09:55 please do not be late as we are a long way away from the gates by 10am to start the walk please leave us some feedback if you have enjoyed this process and or the walking events LEAVE REVIEW
