About Hensting Olaf

Olaf is a solid white Huacaya male born in June 2023, sired by Hensting Cerro de Pasco — a well-regarded white male within our own breeding programme. His dam, Hensting Kahlua, is a bay black Huacaya, making Olaf's solid white colouration a notable genetic outcome and a clean foundation for white breeding lines.

He has excellent overall conformation with a dense, even fleece and a well-proportioned frame. His temperament is genuinely calm — one of the easier animals to handle in the herd. He loads, leads, and accepts routine procedures without fuss, which makes him an ideal first alpaca for new owners or a low-maintenance addition for experienced breeders.

White is among the most versatile colours in alpaca breeding — it accepts dye cleanly and is consistent in fleece processing. Olaf is available now and would work well as a companion male, a breeding prospect for white programmes, or as part of a starter herd.
