Dates: the hunt runs daily from 1 December to 24 December 2026. Each day's hunt opens at midnight and closes at 7:59pm UK time. Entries made after 7:59pm are not accepted.
Who can enter: UK residents aged 18 or over. Children are welcome to hunt with a parent or guardian, who must make the entry. Hensting Alpacas staff and their households may not enter.
No purchase necessary. Entry is free.
How to enter: find the hidden alpaca on the day's page of alpacas-hampshire.co.uk, click it, and submit your name and email address. One entry per person per day. Multiple or automated entries, or entries using false details, will be disqualified.
The draw: at 8pm UK time each day, winners are chosen at random from that day's valid entries by an automated draw. Most days have two winners; 12 December has two family-walk winners and 24 December has one winner.
One prize per person across the whole hunt. Once you have won, later entries in your name or email are not eligible for a further prize.
Prizes: 32 Bronze digital alpaca adoptions; 12 alpaca walks for two people with one alpaca; and 4 family alpaca walks for two adults and two children (aged up to 16) with two alpacas. The Christmas Eve winner receives a family walk and may nominate one other person, aged 18 or over and resident in the UK, to receive a second family walk.
Using prizes: each prize is a single-use personal code, emailed to the winner. Walk prizes can only be used on weekday walks (Monday to Friday) between 1 January and 30 April 2027, subject to availability, and cannot be used for special or seasonal events. Adoption prizes must be used by 30 April 2027. Prizes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged, and are not transferable except as described for the Christmas Eve nomination.
Winners are notified by email on the evening of the draw. If a prize email bounces, we will try to contact the winner once more; if we cannot reach them within 14 days, the prize may be withdrawn.
Publicity: winners' first names and the initial of their surname are published on our winners page. No other details are published.

Changes: if the hunt cannot run as planned for reasons beyond our control (for example a website fault), we may pause it or extend a day. Any change will be shown on the hunt page.
