Your Valentine's Experience Includes:

Before the Walk: Welcome drink (mulled wine or prosecco), safety briefing, introduction to your alpaca, and simple halter training.

The Walk: 90-120 minute guided trek through Itchen Valley's beautiful trails with plenty of romantic photo opportunities and wildlife spotting.

After the Walk: Meet the rest of our herd, final photos, visit our gift shop, and enjoy 10% discount at the park cafe.

Location: Itchen Valley Country Park - 16 consecutive Green Flag Awards winner, just 15 minutes from Southampton, Winchester, and Eastleigh.

What to Wear: Comfortable outdoor clothing, sturdy shoes or wellies (available to hire £1), and weather-appropriate layers. Red or pink encouraged for festive Valentine's photos!

2 People, 1 Alpaca: £51 (includes prosecco)

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes! All our alpaca walks require advance booking. Spaces are limited and this experience is very popular, especially during weekends and school holidays.

What should I wear?

We recommend sturdy, closed-toe footwear (wellies in wet weather), weather-appropriate clothing, and layers. We walk in most weather conditions, so dress for the outdoors!

Can children join this experience?

Yes! All children are welcome. Children under 8 must have one dedicated adult, and children 12+ may lead an alpaca independently. Everyone needs a valid ticket.

Where is Hensting Alpacas located?

We're located at Itchen Valley Country Park in Hampshire, just 15 minutes from Southampton, Winchester, and Eastleigh. Easy access from Portsmouth, Romsey, and surrounding areas.

What if the weather is bad?

We walk in light rain! Only severe weather will cancel walks. If we cancel, you can rebook within 3 months. We recommend adding our £4.50 rescheduling insurance for flexibility.
