From Winchester city centre, Itchen Valley Country Park is reached via the A335 through Eastleigh to Allington Lane, West End, SO30 3HQ — typically 20–25 minutes. Parking at the park costs from £1.30/hour. Alpaca walks are available on morning sessions (10:00am–12:00pm) throughout the week and afternoon sessions (1:30pm–3:00pm) every Friday and Saturday from late March through October. Advance booking is strongly recommended, particularly for summer and school holiday dates which fill several weeks in advance for Winchester-area families.

Yes! All our alpaca walks require advance booking. Spaces are limited and this experience is very popular, especially during weekends and school holidays.
We recommend sturdy, closed-toe footwear (wellies in wet weather), weather-appropriate clothing, and layers. We walk in most weather conditions, so dress for the outdoors!
Yes! All children are welcome. Children under 8 must have one dedicated adult, and children 12+ may lead an alpaca independently. Everyone needs a valid ticket.
We're located at Itchen Valley Country Park in Hampshire, just 15 minutes from Southampton, Winchester, and Eastleigh. Easy access from Portsmouth, Romsey, and surrounding areas.
We walk in light rain! Only severe weather will cancel walks. If we cancel, you can rebook within 3 months. We recommend adding our £4.50 rescheduling insurance for flexibility.
